BRITISH BUTTER RATION
IOZ CUT ANNOUNCED; MORE MARGARINE (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, September 21. The British Ministry of Food has announced that Britain’s butter ration will be cut from three ounces a week to two ounces for some weeks, beginning on October 13. The margarine ration is to be increased from three ounces a week to four. The ration of seven ounces of fat a week is made up with one ounce of cooking fat.
