COURTENAY STREET, ST. ALBANS
Sir, —It would appear that the arrangements to change the name of a portion of Courtenay street wfere illconceived and hastily executed. In the circumstances it would be a gracious act if the City Council arranged a canvass of the residents of the northern end of the street, asking them simultaneously whether a change of name of the street is wanted, and, if so, to select a new name from three proposed by the City Council.—Yours, etc., JOHN CITIZEN. September 21, 1946.
