SOUTH CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIPS The South Canterbury amateur goli championships, which were postponed from June 3, were decided on the Highfield links at Timaru during the weekend. The winners were as follows: senior: G. A. Ussher; runner-up, W. C. Davies. Intermediate: R. L. Galloway; runner-up, O. Evans. Junior: L. E. Ball; runner-up, J. F. Broadmore. Other matches played on Saturday resulted:—bogey handicap, A grade: P. Duming, A. N. Campbell, O. Evans, all square; E. G. Kerr, 1 down. P. Burning won on the count back. B grade: J. R. White, 4 up; I. R, M. Williams, 2 up; J. E. Greenall, 1 down. Four-ball bogey: G. A. Ussher and W. C. Davies, 8 up; J. L. Mackay and W. I. Tait. 6 up; R. J. and D. Moyes, 6 up; C. J. Walsh and H. A.
