The Department of Internal Affairs is investigating the increase in numbers of opossums with a view to discovering the best way of dealing with them. This reply was given, by the Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hom W. E. Parry) in the House of Representatives last evening in reply to members who complained about the damage opossums were doing in forests.—(F.O.P.R.)
