Assured of the future of Wigram as an Air Force station jf the first rank, Christchurch could now concentrate on its endeavours to make Harewood, the city’s civil airport, second to none in the Dominion. The City Council had reaffirmed its intention to do this and it would not relax its efforts to have Harewood made an overseas terminal. ____
