MORE STABBINGS IN BOMBAY
OFFICIAL BAN ON PROCESSIONS BOMBAY, September 15. It is officially stated that although the situation was quieter this morning, tension remained after the taxi shoottag, incident yesterday and developed during the day into 13 stabbings, with «n occasional exchange of brickbats. Two were killed, 14 were wounded, “ta 43 were arrested. The totals for the 15 days’ trouble ire 262 dead, 791 wounded, and 2965 •rrested.
The Bombay police chief has extended the ban on processions and Public meetings for another month.
