NEW EGYPTIAN TREATY
NEGOTIATIONS WITH BRITAIN SIGNING EXPECTED SHORTLY ALEXANDRIA, September 15. After a meeting between the Egyptian Prime Minister (Sidky Pasha) and Lord Stansgate, followed by a meeting of the Egyptian treaty delegation, Sidky Tasha said that negotiations for the revision of the BritishEgyptian treaty would start on TuesSidky Pasha said he hoped that the negotiations would be concluded and a new treaty signed within a fortnight. Sidky Pasha will confer with Lord Stansgate and the British Ambassador (Sir Ronald Campbell). Talks on the treaty were suspended three weeks ago.
