U.S. POLICY IN JAPAN
COMMENT MADE IN RUSSIA (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 11. The Moscow radio, quoting “Izvestia,” said that General MacArthur’s deeds showed that he preferred to use Japan as a springboard for war with Russia. The radio added that the United States State Department had failed to refute General MacArthur’s “proclamation of an anti-Communist campaign.”
