CATCHMENT BOARDS’ ASSOCIATION
ELECTION OF OFFICERS A New Zealand Catchment Boards’ Association was set up at the final meeting yesterday of the New Zealand conference of catchment boards. A report on the constitution of the new body said that it was tentatively proposed that the secretary-treasurer should be the clerk to the catchment board to which belonged the association’s president. The president and tWo of the executive dF five would retire each year. The following officers were elected: president, Mr W. Mschin (North Canterbury); ’ executive, Messrs F. C. Daniell (Wairarapa), C. E.. Kidson (Nelson), J. T. J. Heatley (Manawatu), G. A. Hamilton (Southland), and C. Larsen (Hawke’s Bay).
It was decided that the next conference should be held at Palmerston North.
