ATOMIC BOMB TEST OBSERVERS

WASHINGTON, May 7. The Acting-Secretary of State (Mr Dean Acheson) announced that the United States was inviting all countries having membership of the United Nations Atomic Energy Commission to send Governmental and press observers to the atomic bomb tests in the Pacific in July and August. The countries invited are Russia, Britain, France, China, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Egypt, Mexico, the Netherlands, and Poland.
