Gaming Charges.—Charged with using premises as a common gaminghouse, Norman Fitch was fined £65 by Mr E. Walton. S.M., in the Tauranga Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Leonard Havelock Sharplin was fined £4O for a similar offence. Lillian .May Hogan was fined £1 and Peri Smith £25 for permitting premises to be used as a common gaminghouse. Victor Smith was fined £2O. Susan Smith and Roy Gordon Bathgate were each fined £lO for assisting in the management of a common gaminghouse.—(P.A.)
