PACIFIC SURVEY FLIGHT
AUSTRALIAN AIR SERVICE* (Rec 7 pan.) SYDNEY. May 3 The Minister of Air (Mr A. S. Drakeford) and his wife and daughter were which left Mascot aerodrome to-night for San Francisco on the first survey flight before the establishment of a regular trans-Pacific service. The regular service is expected to begin early in June. . , . . .... The 29 passengers included Australian National Airways officials, two crews, and four hostesses. The second crew will take delivery of the company’s fourth Skymaster which like the other three will be flown to Australia The route followed by the Warana wiU be Fiji. Canton Island. Honolulu, and San Francisco.
