BICYCLE RIDE TO N.Z. PLANNED

LONDON. March 3. A London 'toolmaker intends to speed up his emigration to New Zealand by using a push bicycle for most of the journey, says the Press Association. Advised that he vrould have to wait at least a year for a ship, 36-year-old Mr E. J. Cooke decided to cycle across England to Scotland, travel to Ireland by sea, cross the Atlantic, either by sea or air, cycle across Canada, and then cycle to Los Angeles. He anticipates that he will have less trouble in getting a ship to New Zealand at Los Angeles. Mr Cooke will leave London tomorrow.
