U.S. PRESIDENCY
WASHINGTON, February 12. “There is no truth in the report that President Truman told White House advisers that he would not be a candidate for the Presidency in 1948,’’ said Mr Robert Hennegan, chairman of the Democratic Party, to-day. Mr Hennegan said President Truman had been so busy with foreign and domestic problems of overshadowing importance that he had not had time to consider the 1948 election.
