Award at Flower Show.— At the New Brighton Horticultural Society’s summer show held on Saturday the Zena Shield was won by Lynette Norman. The shield is a new award, and is given for most points in the children’s section of the combined spring and summer shows. Bookmaker Fined.—Walter Leonard Green, a storeman, was fined £lOO on a charge of bookmaking before Mr W. F. Stilwell. S.M., in the Wellington Magistrate’s Court yesterday.—(PA)
