AUSTRALIA’S PART IN FRAMING PEACE

“FULL OPPORTUNITY OF PARTICIPATING ” (Rec. 9 .p.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 7. Australia would now have a full opportunity of participating in both the European and Pacific peace settlements. As it became apparent that there was no plan to call together a peace conference composed of all the active Allied nations, he said, it became his duty to invoke the principle that all Allied nations which had a record of active and sustained belligerency were entitled to participate in the framing of the peace.
