TOUR BY N.Z. Phillips, of the West Old- Boys' Club. to a statement that the leading teams of the A and B sections of the second grade would be drawn together at the end of the season. He said that at the last meeting it had been. stated that teams from the three sections would be drawn together.

Mr W. J. V. Hamilton, for the competitions committee, said that cricketers must be tolerant in what was. after all. an experimental season. On the suggestion of the chairman, Mr D. A. On Show Day a Canterbury team will play Ashburton at Hagley Park. A Possibles v. Probables game will be held, as a representative trial game, and a Brabln Shield trial game has also been arranged. A letter from the South Canterbury Association, regretting that the suggested match on Show Day would be too early in the season, was received. It was hoped, however, to play a match later in the season.
