This picture showS LanceCorporal J. H. Small in company with some of his relatives. LanceCorporal Small, who broke camp and reached Allied lines before the cessation of hostilities, was, in common with a number of other New Zealanders, tutored for a book-keeping course in a prisoner-of-war camp by Staff-Sergeant L. A. Poison, formerly of the commercial staff of “The Press,” who is due back in the Dominion shortly.
