Picton route: 7 a.m. daily. South express goods, Monday to Friday 4 p.m.; late fee letters, 6 p.m.; express Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. North Island: Steamer express, Monday to Saturday, 4 p.m.; late fee, 6 p.m.; railway station, 7 p.m. Air Mails Within New Zealand Air mails close at the Chief Post Office, Christchurch—north-bound; Monday to Saturday. 8.30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Southbound, Monday to Saturday, inclusive, noon.
