Kyle (a tailor), and Direct Cash in an adjoining building, -Jned by Mr Allred Taylor, was Constable Walden and Mr Earl vicfaolson, proprietor of the Central flotel suffered injuries in entering this voiding to rouse the occupants, and taken to the Hutt Hospital for r«ention. Others injured were Mr A. Tayior Foreman Ryan, of the Lower TtUtt fire Brigade, and Superintendent cilbery, 0 f the Petone Brigade, which was called to assist in dealing with Ssffire. The injuries were minor cuts ami injuries, and all except Mr TaySff who is an inspector with the Hutt yjiley power Board, have left hospital.
