RELEASED PRISONERS OF WAR
DELIVERY OF PARCELS ARRANGED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, September 23. The Prisoners of War Inquiry Office Headquarters advises that it is now possible to send comforts and parcels to prisoners of war to be delivered when men are released and arrive in England Parcels should be addressed care of the High Commissioner for New Zealand, 415, Strand, London, and do not require a special tie-on labe| as they are not to be censored at prisoner of war packing depots. ■ The parcels will be handled by the Post Office in the same way as parcels for members of the fighting forces, and are liable to current postal charges. The inquiry office will supply next-of-kin with further details within the next few weeks. Official advice has been received that Stalag 357 has been closed and prisoners moved to Stalag 355, the location of which is at present unknown. Letters for prisoners concerned should be addressed to the last address given by the prisoner himself. Air Force prisoners who were located at Stalag Luft 6 have been transferred to other camps in Germany, and a number of the men are now at Stalag Luft 4, at Sagan Communications for prisoners concerned should be addressed as before until advice as to the new camp address is received.
