LAND AGGREGATION

Sir—A simple remedy for this problem is to do as the Australian Government has done;-that is. to require, any person or company who purchases land to invest a .certain figure, in war loans. -Such, a ■ restriction should not be- placed on persons buying homes for ■ their own occupation, and could not, of course, be placed on men who have served overseas. It would be a good plan, however, to put into operation here, particularly in regard to so many people and firms who appear to have made so ihuch easy money during the last few years.—Yours, etc., FOLLOW AUSTRALIA. September 22. 1944,
