Cowper) had written to me Christchurch Domains Board for an . adjustment of the Domains Board levy consequent on the exclusion of the Achilles block, Avon, from, the.Waimairi County and its inclusion, in the. city. The board had replied that the amount of the levy on each conmouting local body was fixed .by award, which contained no provision for adjustments. , “The position is that when an area is excluded from the county and included in the city, we still have to pay the levy ,on that area,” said Mr Cowper. "The only thing to do is to apply for a revision of the award.” It was decided to write to the Vo* partment of Internal Affairs asking* ■ whether any action could be taken TO rectify the matters
