MR JACK BRIGGS

The death occurred recently of Mr Jack Briggs, who had been associated with the agricultural machinery business in Canterbury for many years For 55 years he had been a member of the staff of Booth. Macdonald, and Company, and he made many friends among members of the farming community with whom he came in contact About 50 years ago. he was one of the best-known threshing ipill proprietors in Canterbury. He was the first man to take a threshing mill into North Canterbury. He was an authority on clover hullers in the early days of their use in New Zealand.
