Blank (scr) headed the qualifying round of the Waitiklri Golf Club’s championship with a gross score of 67, beating the previous course record of 68 held by Blank and "Bobby” Locke. Blank played perfect golf. He was out In 30, 5 under the standard scratch score, and home in 37. In the first half he scored no fewer than five birdies.
