MR FRASER UNDERGOES OPERATION
IMPROVEMENT IN HEALTH (P.A.I WELLINGTON, October 31. An operation to open an internal abscess was performed on the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser) at Lewisham Hospital on Saturday morning. The Deputy-Prime Minister (the Hon. W. Nash) reported after the operation that Mr Fraser’s condition was satisfactory. Mr Fraser had a good night last night, and Mr Nash said this evening that the Prime Minister’s health was improving.
