U.S. Submarine Lost,—The United States Navy has announced the loss of the submarine Rl2 while training off the east coast recently, probably as a result of an accident Of the complement of 28, some were saved. The Rl2 was one of the Navy’s oldest and smallest submarines. It was commissioned in 1919 and had a displacement 6£ 530 tons.—Washington, June 27.
