NEW JUGOSLAV CABINET
FORMATION IN LONDON (Rec. 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 28. M. Mimilos Trifunovic has succeeded in forming a new Jugoslav Cabinet in London. The solution followed a week's political crisis, in which there were intense deliberations between King Peter and Jugoslav political leaders in London. M. Trifunovic is de-puty-leader of the Serb Radical Party, and one of the most prominent Serb politicians. M. Trifunovic assumes responsibility for the effective introduction immediately after the war of a federal democratic Constitution, under the Monarchy, on a basis of political, economic, and social equality for Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes. The new Cabinet includes General Mikhailovic, the guerrilla leader, as Minister of War. Information reaching authoritative Jugoslav circles in Cairo affirms that General Mikhailovic is safe with his men, carrying on the fight. This refutes Axis assertions that, following the defeat of his forces in the mountains of Montenegro, he fled the country.
