QUEEN CARNIVAL CONTEST The, fund for tbe Nursing Services Qqeen benefited considerably from the parade and,display made at Lyttelton on Saturday afternoon. A. procession was headed by Derryfs Military Band and included the two Lyttelton St. John,

two fire engines trailer pumps, raprpjiers of the St. John Ambulance Divisions, the Red Cros£ and fire Brigade. Stalls and a fun pgrjour in thje basement of the Fire .Brjgade station did good business.
