IMPROVEMENT ON GREY BAR
The recent freshes and heavy seas have had the effect of considerably improving the depth on the Greymouth harbour bar. There is no shoaling and the berthages and the dredge will proceed to Nelson for annual survey in about a week's time. The depth on the bar at high water yesterday was 23ft.
