TRANSPORT OF MINERS
Because of some trouble about the transport of miners from Waimangaroa to Denniston, there was no work at the Denniston mine on Thursday. It is understood that the bus used to convey the men to Denniston was a 25seater and 36 men were expected to travel in it. The matter has been referred to the Transport Control Committee and in the meantime work has been resumed.
