DECLARED ESSENTIAL
The names of 21 firms declared essential in respect of operations assodated with sheepskins, calfskins, and hides are given in the twenty-first list of declarations received by the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association. Among these firms are Colycr. Watson and Company, Ltd,, at Christchurch: J. K. Mooney and Company, Ltd., at Christchurch and at Timaru; A. S. Paterson and Company, Ltd., at Christchurch. In the twenty-first list also is the declaration as essential of the operations of all workers coming within the scope of various butchers’ awards, including the Wellington. Taranaki, Nelson, Marlborough, Westland, and Canterbury av/ard.
