Tho weather lorecast for Canterbury L--t:ccl at a p.rn. by the Meteorological Oliicc, Wellington, and dealing with the 24 hours following the time of issue, is as lollows: Fresh southerly winds prevailing; weather cloudy and showery, but improving; temperatures cool. WEST COAST The following is the forecast for the West Coast of the South Island:— Fresh southerly winds gradually prerailing: weather unsettled, with further lain, but slowly improving in the south; temperatures cooler. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The clay in Christchurch yesterday was fine but overcast. At 1 o'clock this morning the sky was cloudy, and there was a light wind from the north-west.
