St. Andrew’s College Old Boy.—SubLieutenant D. E. Rowe, the only son of Mrs M. Rowe, Nicholls street, who has received his wings and commission, was trained in England and Canada for the Fleet Air Arm, He is an old boy of St. Andrew’s College, and before leaving for England was assistant to Mr J. H. Smith, public accountant.
The proposed visit of the Minister of Civil Defence (the Hon. D. Wilson) to Christchurch to-day for thfc discussion of E.P.S. matters, has been postponed, \
