CHRISTCHURCH EAST

REAL DEMOCRACY MOVEMENT’S RESOLUTION

The question of selecting a Real Democracy Movement candidate for the Christchurch East electorate was discussed at a meeting of the Christchurch East branches of the movement and the following resolution was carried unanimously:—

"That as a General Election appears almost certain to be held in 1943, and as up to the present the movement has only 47 electorates organised it would be in the general interests to use its ctrength in organising the rest of New Zealand in preference to expending its energies on the Christchurch East by-election.”
