SMOKE CONCERT

PAPARUA RETURNED SERVICES’

ASSOCIATION

The Paparua sub-branch of the Returned Services’ Association held a successful smoko concert in the Prebblclon Hall. Messrs J. K. Moloney and E. Orchard represented the Christchurch association. Because of petrol restrictions there were no representatives of sub-branches. Toasts included "The New Zealand Returned Services’ Association, PJ°“ posed by Mr J. Moir, and responded to by Mr Moloney; ‘‘The Fighting Services,’’ proposed by Mr E. Orchard, and responded to by Mr H. Widdowson, who has been invalided home from service.
