CHAPLAINS IN DETENTION CAMPS

Sir, —"A Mother's” letter in this morning’s paper has opened up another side of the question of the spiritual welfare of the boys in the detention camp. Not mentioning of the men in detention camps from the pulpit has always been a heartache, as I am a wife of one of these men who has given tho best years of his life for the Methodist Church and even his coworkers have now failed even to write or send a word of cheer. If the Synod is now going to administer to these men in the camps let them go further and remember these disciples of Christ who are witnessing for Him from the pulpit with others,—Yours, etc., A WIFE. December 1, 1942.
