Other large aircraft were damaged in combat. Two trains were also successfully attacked in Tunisia and enemy vehicles were strafed on (he road leading to Tripoli. A small coastah steamer was attacked from a low level and badly damaged. “Two bombing attacks were made on the Comiso aerodrome in Sicily. Enemy fighter interception was successfully repulsed. From all these extensive operations all our aircraft returned.”
