BREAD

Sir,—As secretary of the Canterbury Master Bakers’ and Pastrycooks’ Association, I have been requested on behalf of the bakers to give their assurance that the public need in no way be alarmed concerning the quality of bread. My members fully appreciate that they have been entrusted to bake the people’s bread, and all have agreed that, come what may with the zoning scheme, quality will not deteriorate. The bakers are in business to make and sell bread, and they value to the highest the goodwill of their customers, who are, of course, all sections of the public.—Yours, etc.. GEO, R. BURROWES, Secretary. Canterbury Master Bakers’ and Pastrycooks' Association. November 27, 1942.
