RETAILER’S COMPLAINT “UNABLE TO SELL AT j FIXED PRICES» < A complaint that he had not bett able to sell onions or spring carroa for some weeks, because the wholesale prices in the markets were greater than the fixed maximum prices M retail sales, was made to a reporter« “The Press” yesterday by Mr Cecu Lilleyman, North Brighton. Mr Lilleyman said’ that if a fruiter® were honest and obeyed the pro* fixing orders he could not afford™ buy onions and spring carrots atnPJ market rates. In his own case, customers were suffering, because was the only shop in about a MjWj mile. They simply had to go witM® carrots and onions. .....
