♦ SUCCESSES IN ANHWEI AND HONAN tltec. 11 p.m.) CHUNGKING. Nov. 22. Chinese troops have captured three towns north of the Kwo river, in Anhwei Province, inflicting more than 500 casualties on the Japanese. The Chinese have also reoccupied Hutoukang, in the east of Honan Province, routing the Japanese, and raided Japanese positions near Swatow. j T* 16 Japanese have launched a new from Shashi, in Hupeh Province.
