COMPENSATION CLAIM
The sum of £75 was awarded to the plaintiff by the Compensation Court in a case heard before Mr Justice O’Regan last week. The plaintiff was F. L. Whall (Mr M. J. Gresson). who claimed for what the Court deemed fitting against A. H. Turnbull and Company, Lid. (Mr C. Penlington). Costs were awarded to the plaintiff. The compensation was claimed tor an injury to a thumb sustained by the plaintiff on November 28, 1941. Up to the time of the hearing of the case, Whall had been paid £lB9 compensation.
