MR HOLLAND’S STATEMENT
Sir,—l wish to congratulate Mr S. G. Holland on the stand which he has taken in regard to the problem of the coal miners recently sentenced for a breach of the law. If Mr Holland s action serves no other purpose than to draw the people's and the politicians' attention to the existence of the principle involved, then it will have been worth while. Expediency or sectional interest is unthinkable as justification. —Yours, etc.. CARLY C. M. KAVANAGH. September 25, 1942.
