The final of the Canterbury amateur junior billiards championship was played last week between L. Heaton, jun. (Sydenham Library), and R. Norton (Lichfield), and resulted in a win for the former by 500 points to 451. After the first round of the Canterbury amateur snooker championship the fol lowing players will contest the second round: Turpin, Wilkie. McLean (Tramway). Innes, Nevell, McGillivray, Cox, Dryden, Anson (Lichfield). Young, King, Anderson, Falcon (W.M.C.), Fisher (Pioneer), Cheat (Richmond), Elkie (Lyttelton). Play will be resumed next week.
