CAMP CONCERT PARTIES
ARMY TRANSPORT TO BE . AVAILABLE An Army instruction has been issued that Army transport will be provided for concert parties visiting camps. The instruction says that tram?, port has to be kept down to a minimum and properly controlled, and the allocation of concert parties to the various camps and depots will, as far as possible, be controlled and coordinated by headquarters and districts. A copy of the instruction was received last night by the Canterbury Territorial Association. It stated that in the past Army transport had not been available for transporting concert parties, the parties making their own arrangements. Because of the petrol reduction and the tyre position, difficulty was being experienced by parties in arranging transport, and approval had been given for Army trans. port to be used.
