Soil Erosion Correction A promise that the resolutions submitted will receive insideration, and a statement that they have been "carefully noted." are contained in a communication from the Hon. D. Wilson, in reply to the decisions taken at the Soil Erosion Conference held at Greymouth on September 5. The resolution requested an immediate visit by the Soil Conservation and River Control Council; that a sufficient grant be made to enable the council to function; and that fresh dredging licences will not be issued till they are referred to the council.
