PARISHIONERS’ MEETING AT DARFIELD
The annual meeting of the parishioners of the Darfield Presbyterian Church was held recently, with the Rev. G. Calder presiding. It was decided to place on record appreciation of the services of Mr D. Mulholland, who in November will resign his position as treasurer of the church, a position he has held for 50 years. The reports of the Presbyterian Women’s Missionary Union. Birthday League, and stamp collector were read by Mrs W. Hucheon. The following officers were elected; Secretary. Mr J. Reid; treasurer, Mr D. Mulholland: general committee, Messrs S. Syme, J. Syme, G. Donald, G. Masterton, W. Mulholland, John Green, J. U, Reid. C. Everson, H. Gillanders, H. H. Barrs, Robert Reid; central committee delegates, Messrs J. Green and G. Donald.
