IN THE CASUALTY LISTS.—LEFT: Corporal E. A. Gasson, elder son of Mr and Mrs E. A. Gasson, Langdown street, Christchurch, died of wounds. He was a prominent member of the Sydenham Cricket Club for many years, and represented Canterbury in 1937. He was also a well-known member of both the Christchurch Football Club and the Templeton Golf Club. RIGHT: Pilot Officer L. P. Booker, of Brighton, West Coast, killed on active service.
