BUSINESSMEN’S CLUB

* PAST PRESIDENTS’ DAY Past presidents. of the Christchurch Businessmen’s Club were the officials at the fortnightly meeting of the club yesterday. Mr H. B. Duckworth presided and other past presidents at the meeting were the Hon. S. G. Holland, Messrs P. O’Connell, L. L. Cofdery, E. H. Buckridge and Arthur Stewart and Captain D. V. Wilson. The work of the Army Service Corps was the subject of an address by Captain Wilson. He outlined the work of the corps and explained its close cooperation with the fighting forces, making comparisons between its work in the 1914-18 war and the present war. He added a number of reminiscences of camp life.
