MACEDONIA IN REVOLT

STATE OF SIEGE PROCLAIMED GESTAPO UNITS SENT TO BULGARIA (Rec. 5 p.m.) LONDON, Sept, 13. A Stockholm report .says that Bulgarian Macedonia is reported to be in complete revolt. A state of seige has been proclaimed in Skoplje and the surrounding districts, where revolutionary groups have been terrorising the population. Bulgarian officials have been killed in several towns. The Germans allege that the Russians are supplying the rebels with ammunition and food by air. An Ankara message says units of the Gestapo are being sent to Bulgaria to deal with a wave of sabotage. At Plovdiv a telephone exchange was put out of action, and a German troop train was derailed. The Germans are reported to have disbanded several Bulgarian regiments after alleging that they were harbouring officers sympathetic to Russia.
